More than 50 prisoners escaped from a prison in Indonesia (video)

More than 50 inmates escaped from a prison located in Indonesia's Aceh province, reports The Telegraph.
Footage circulating on social media shows men climbing over fences and running past street vendors. Residents of the province, located in the west of the country, attempted to capture the escaped inmates. According to officials, 28 inmates are currently still at large.
The inmates made their escape while waiting in line for food. Indonesia's prisons are currently facing a serious problem — most of them are overcrowded with criminals.
Last month, Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto warned that 87 percent of the country's prisons were full. Following the incident in Aceh, the minister informed the media that this prison was designed for 100 people, but there are currently 368 inmates being held there.
Most of the inmates serving their sentences have been convicted of drug-related charges. Currently, all surrounding areas are being searched for the escapees, and officials have urged the remaining inmates at large to surrender to avoid new penalties.
