Kazakhstan's President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev was awarded the highest state order of the Republic of Turkey – the "Devlet Nishanı". This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the information from the press service of the Akorda, the ceremonial event was held in Ankara, and the award was personally presented by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogʻan. In his speech, the Turkish president emphasized Toqaev's significant contribution to interstate relations and noted that, due to his constructive and wise leadership, Kazakhstan has become a center of peace and stability in the region.

Erdogʻan also highly appreciated Kazakhstan's active participation in the Organization of Turkic States and stated, "You have always shown closeness and friendship to Turkey and the Turkic peoples. Therefore, it is a great honor for me to present you with the highest award of our country."

In his speech, Toqaev expressed that he accepts such recognition not only as a personal honor but also as a sign of respect and trust towards the entire Kazakh people. He emphasized that the "Devlet Nishanı" order is a symbol of friendship and brotherhood, and he considers this appreciation an important step for the strong ties, common history, and cultural values between fraternal peoples.

The Kazakh leader also stated, "This high award is a bright expression of Turkey's sincere respect and friendly relations towards the entire Kazakh people. This appreciation will become a solid foundation for the organic friendship and strategic partnership between our nations."
