Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a new law that allows for the deprivation of citizenship for certain individuals. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this law, individuals who commit 72 types of serious crimes can be deprived of Russian citizenship. Among the crimes included in the law are murder, terrorism, extortion, actions threatening state security, and serious crimes such as collaborating with international organizations against Russia.
Additionally, the penalty of deprivation of citizenship will also apply to crimes such as gang rape, violence against minors, distribution of child pornography, and promoting and financing terrorism. Experts believe that this law serves to further tighten control over the legal system in Russia.
The law has officially come into force and is being implemented by the relevant authorities. This new regulation is aimed at ensuring the rule of law and strengthening security in the country.
