According to Kyiv, the Russian government is increasing the number of fighters participating in the war against Ukraine by approximately 9 thousand each month. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that Russia is planning to significantly expand its military capabilities. Moscow aims to establish at least ten new divisions by the end of 2025.
So far, two divisions have already been formed. Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this after a meeting on August 5 to analyze the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in July.
According to him, Russia's gradual increase in the number of fighters should not leave Kyiv inactive. Therefore, Ukraine must not allow any complacency.
Continuing mobilization processes, further improving military training, and especially enhancing the capabilities of unmanned systems are considered crucial. Syrskyi described July as a very difficult and intense period for Ukraine.
The Russian army has been conducting active operations along almost the entire front. They are attempting to apply the "small cuts" tactic through rapid assaults by small groups.
The situation is particularly complex in the directions of Pokrovsk, Dobropole, and Novopavlovo. At the same time, the Ukrainian army has achieved certain successes in reclaiming territories in the Severo-Slobozhansk direction, particularly in the Sumy region.
Additionally, they are continuing military operations in the Kursk region as well. This situation requires even more serious preparation and deep strategic thinking from Ukraine and its military command.
Russia is striving to achieve not only numerical superiority but also strategic advantage. For this reason, Kyiv is shaping its response, with technology, preparation, and mobilization being seen as key factors.
