A French journalist introduced himself as a migrant and secretly infiltrated a human trafficking network in northern France, documenting the activities of criminals. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He created a false identity, went to a mysterious camp in the forest as a migrant, and recorded a meeting with traffickers using a hidden camera. The journalist played the role of a rejected asylum seeker named "Abu Ahmed" who came from Syria.
He tried to look similar to other migrants in the region with his clothing and equipment. In the forest camp, he spoke with a criminal named Abdulla, who did not hide his actions but mentioned the necessity to leave quickly.
The frequent changes of phone numbers, the warnings given to criminals, and the dangerous environment complicated the investigation. The journalist monitored various locations every day, trying to study the criminals and their activities.
He also learned the internal language of the criminal network: migrants are referred to as "nafar," while minor criminals are called "rebari." During the investigation, several dangerous situations arose, but the journalist managed to obtain crucial evidence through his hidden camera.
As he was leaving the forest, he also paid attention to his safety, as the criminals could be watching him. As a result of this investigation, one person was arrested in the United Kingdom, and new opportunities were created in the fight against human trafficking.
This work was an important step in the fight against crime
