An online school in Uzbek language will be organized for compatriots in Scandinavia
Negotiations were held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the participation of Odil Qoysinov, Vice-Rector of the Nordic International University in Tashkent, and Zilola Yo'lchiyeva, head of the Uzbek National Center in Sweden, regarding the implementation of a project to teach the Uzbek language in Scandinavian countries.

A project to teach the children of compatriots living in Scandinavian countries in the Uzbek language was developed in collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek National Cultural Center in Sweden.

The Nordic International University in Tashkent expressed its willingness to support this project. Specifically, in the initial phase, an online school in the Uzbek language will be established for the children of compatriots in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway in accordance with state educational standards.

– Our initiative is an example of public-private partnership, meaning that both our embassy in Stockholm and our Cultural Center, as well as the Nordic International University in Tashkent, are actively participating in the development of this important project. Currently, we are conducting a survey on our website about how to run the online school with the parents of the children. An online school is planned to be opened based on the Cultural Center with the participation of the Nordic International University. Today we discussed various aspects of the upcoming project with experienced teachers from this university, – said Zilola Yo'lchiyeva, head of the Uzbek National Center in Sweden.

Textbooks and fiction books were presented on behalf of the Nordic International University in Tashkent for the library fund being established at the Uzbek National Cultural Center in Sweden.
