Zelenskiy: Russia continues attacks even on summit day
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced that Russian forces are continuing attacks on civilian infrastructure even on the day of the summit held in Alaska. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, Moscow is not ready to end the war, and no positive changes are visible in political dialogue. Zelenskiy emphasized this in a statement on social media.

The head of state stated that he is closely monitoring the preparation process for the meeting in Alaska through intelligence and diplomats. Additionally, constant information is being received about the position Russian President Vladimir Putin will take at the summit.

Meanwhile, new attacks continue in Ukrainian territories. In particular, the central market in the city of Sumy was struck, and attacks are being carried out on cities and enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian forces are also targeting areas in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Donetsk regions. Analyzing the situation, Zelenskiy noted that the Kremlin is not seriously preparing to end the war.

He stressed that the enemy continues attacks on the summit day, indicating much about the true intentions of the Russian regime. He drew attention to the sharp contrast between the frontline situation and diplomatic negotiations.

The Russian Ministry of Defense rejected the president's statement and accused Ukraine of provoking before the summit. Moscow considers these accusations rhetoric used instead of political pressure.

Meanwhile, a summit between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is beginning in Alaska. The negotiations are taking place at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage.

The main topic of the summit is expected to be resolving the Ukraine crisis, as well as discussions on economic cooperation and global security issues. According to Zamin.uz's analysis, there is a significant gap between the news coming from the front and the diplomatic negotiations.

The question remains open: can the words spoken in the diplomatic arena change the reality on the battlefield?
