An amazing event occurred in the state of Michigan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Richard Gilford, a former engineer at the Ford factory, found the wallet he lost 11 years ago inside a car manufactured at that time. This was reported by Pravilamag.
The wallet was discovered by chance. When the car was brought to the workshop for repairs, the mechanics found the wallet under the hood when they opened it.
The wallet contained a driver's license, a Ford company employee ID, a few dollars, and gift cards worth $250 intended for Christmas presents for his children. The owner of the wallet was quickly identified — it was revealed to be Richard Gilford, a retired engineer from the Ford factory.
Chad Volk, the owner of LC Car Care workshop, contacted Gilford through social networks and sent the wallet by mail the next day. Interestingly, the wallet did not interfere with the car's operation at all.
As the car owner noted, despite the car having traveled over 240,000 kilometers, the wallet remained preserved. According to Gilford, some items inside had changed due to heat but were not damaged by moisture.
The wallet stayed completely dry and intact in one corner of the car. This event serves as a lesson to many, showing that sometimes lost items can return to their owners over time.
