
The Israeli Defense Forces have announced the start of the first phase of their plan to take full control of Gaza city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The military stated that they are already positioned on the outskirts of the city. This operation has been approved by Defense Minister Israel Katz and will soon be discussed at the security council.
Since the beginning of September, approximately 60,000 reserve soldiers are planned to be mobilized. According to military information, soldiers are currently active in the Zeitun and Jabaliya areas.
Underground tunnels storing weapons have been discovered in these locations. The Israeli government is also developing a plan to evacuate civilians to avoid harming the city's population.
However, the situation in Gaza remains complicated. Hamas accuses Israel of "continuing the war against innocent civilians."
According to Gaza's civil defense data, 25 people, including five members of one family, have been killed in recent strikes. The international community is expressing concern over Israel's actions.
French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that these events could drag the region into an "eternal war vortex." Peace negotiations are ongoing through mediation by Qatar and Egypt.
Hamas has stated that it accepted a proposal for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of some hostages. However, Israel demands the release of all hostages.
So far, it has been reported that more than 62,000 people have died in Gaza.
