
Transport Minister Abdulqodir O‘rolo‘g‘li was fined for exceeding the designated speed limit while driving his personal car. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This incident sparked widespread discussions on social media and received extensive coverage in the mass media. It was revealed that the minister reached a speed of 225 kilometers per hour while traveling from Ankara towards Niğde.
This was significantly higher than the 140 kilometers per hour limit set by traffic regulations. The minister’s action was considered a serious concern from the perspective of road safety and attracted considerable criticism.
Abdulqodir O‘rolo‘g‘li admitted his mistake and stated in a video circulated on social media that he acknowledged speeding. He voluntarily approached the police and paid a fine of 9,267 lira for the violation.
The minister emphasized that, like all citizens, even government officials are equal before the law and must be held accountable for any mistakes. According to him, government officials must strictly adhere to laws and avoid making errors.
