Masala y Maiz restaurant sets payment freely

The famous Masala y Maiz restaurant in Mexico City is gaining wide public attention with its unique initiative. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The restaurant offers guests the opportunity to choose any dish from the menu and pay according to their means. The main goal of this initiative is to attract people with different income levels in the city to dine under equal conditions.

On special days, the restaurant does not issue a receipt but instead provides guests with a special envelope. Each guest decides how much they can pay.

Some pay more, while others leave less according to their ability. Additionally, there are cases where some people leave gifts instead of money.

Masala y Maiz recently earned a Michelin star. This achievement helps to further promote the initiative.

On August 27 of this year, more than 20 other restaurants in Mexico also participated in this initiative. The restaurant owners hope that this idea will spread to other countries in the future.
