On September 1, Germany accepted another group of Afghan citizens. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Deutsche Welle, 45 Afghans who had the right to enter the country arrived in Germany through Hanover airport. They traveled from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, flew via Istanbul, and finally reached Germany.
A representative of the German Ministry of the Interior stated that these individuals obtained visas based on court decisions. Therefore, they successfully passed entry and security checks.
As emphasized by the ministry's representative, all Afghans underwent the necessary reception and security screenings completely. Official data indicates that currently more than 2,100 Afghans are living in Pakistan.
They are waiting for their turn to fly, having visas to enter Germany. Some families have been living in Islamabad for months, even years.
According to officials, this process is an important part of Germany's humanitarian policy. This policy opens new opportunities for people at risk and serves to protect them.
Germany continues to assist Afghans and pays special attention to ensuring their safety.
