The population of Russia will observe a total lunar eclipse on September 7. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the “TASS” agency, citing Lyudmila Koshman, head of the methodological support department at the Moscow Planetarium, the lunar eclipse will last from 18:28 to 23:55 Moscow time.
The phase during which the moon is completely in the Earth's shadow will last approximately one and a half hours, from 20:31 to 21:53. The peak of the eclipse will occur at 21:12.
According to Koshman, this natural phenomenon will be clearly visible from cloudless areas of Russia. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Sergey Bogachev emphasized on the “Be Careful, Moscow” Telegram channel that the lunar eclipse can be easily seen with the naked eye.
Therefore, no special equipment is required to observe this event. The lunar eclipse is a natural and unique astronomical event that serves as an interesting spectacle for many people.
Thus, on September 7, the population of Russia will have the opportunity to see this event brightly and clearly.
