Special attention is being paid to order and security issues within the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to RIA Novosti, within the framework of new measures being prepared by the government, the entry or stay of foreign nationals who violate rules in Russia may be restricted. According to current federal migration legislation, if a foreign national is held administratively liable two or more times within three years, they may be banned from entering Russia.
These restrictions particularly apply to violations of traffic rules. The legal document cites examples of violations such as driving a vehicle that has not passed technical inspection, failing to yield at pedestrian crossings, and improperly installing state license plates.
Such violations can pose a significant problem for foreign drivers and may result in a high likelihood of being banned from entering Russia for up to three years. Officials emphasize that these measures are being introduced to strengthen legality in Russia, ensure safety on the roads, and maintain public order.
At the same time, foreign labor migrants and drivers are required to respect the country's laws. This initiative has sparked various opinions among the public.
Some believe it will strengthen traffic discipline, while others say it may be too strict a restriction for foreigners. If a final decision is made, every foreign national coming to Russia will have to strictly comply with traffic rules.
Because even a minor violation could lead to losing their opportunity to enter the country.
