The United Nations' independent international commission has recognized Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip as genocide. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The commission's report noted that the Israeli government has pursued a policy aimed at destroying Palestinians as a group. Various measures have been implemented to restrict the population's ability to reproduce, including methods that prevent childbirth.
Furthermore, harsh living conditions leading to the physical destruction of Palestinians have been created, severely worsening their living standards. The report emphasized that these actions fully comply with the requirements of the Rome Statute and the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
According to the commission's main conclusions, Israel is currently continuing genocide in the Gaza Strip, and this process has reached its most brutal phase since 1948. The country's political and military leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have openly called for this process.
Tel Aviv has failed to ensure the protection of Gaza's population and has not fulfilled its obligations to prevent genocide. Therefore, states must use all available means to stop the actions of the Israeli army in Gaza and other occupied territories.
Following this UN commission report, widespread discussions have begun in the international community. It is stated that the current situation poses a serious threat to the future of the entire region.
