According to the garden administration, the flower was dug up along with its root. This rare plant is known as "David," and its weight ranges from 20 to 30 kilograms on average.
Due to the flower's smell resembling rotten meat, it causes discomfort among people, but for some insects, this odor is attractive. The Amorphophallus titanum blooms every 3 to 7 years, and its blooming period lasts only 2–3 days.
According to information, when this flower bloomed in 2018 and 2021, thousands of people visited the botanical garden. Currently, the garden administration has reported the theft to the police, and an investigation has begun.
