The 17th aid ship from Turkey has arrived in Gaza
The 17th "Goodness Ship" delivering humanitarian aid from Turkey to the Gaza Strip arrived at Egypt's El-Arish port at midday today. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The ship named "Akdeniz" is carrying approximately 900 tons of food products. The ship departed from the Mersin international port on the southeastern coast of Turkey on October 14.

This humanitarian aid was prepared by Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) along with 17 civil society organizations. The aid cargo mainly includes food, canned goods, and special nutrition for children.

Upon arrival at El-Arish port, an official reception process will be carried out by AFAD representatives. According to information, since October 7, 2023, Turkey has been continuously sending humanitarian aid to Gaza via 14 airplanes and 16 ships.

According to AFAD, the 17th "Goodness Ship" has initiated a new phase in Turkey's assistance to the people of Gaza. This aid is of great importance to the local population and serves to improve their lives.
