European countries and Ukraine are developing a new 12-point peace plan aimed at stopping the war along the current front line. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Bloomberg agency, this plan could become a new phase in negotiations between Kyiv and Western countries. The document envisions the cessation of military actions between Ukraine and Russia based on the current positions.
To oversee the implementation of the plan, it is proposed to establish a special Peace Council chaired by U.S. President Donald Trump. This council will be responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the peace agreement, resolving disputes between the parties, and implementing security guarantees.
According to Bloomberg, under the plan, Ukraine will receive security guarantees, the opportunity for rapid accession to the European Union will be created, and significant financial aid will be provided within the framework of recovery programs. The document has not been officially announced yet, but sources say that European and Ukrainian delegations plan to discuss it in the coming weeks.
Experts consider this initiative an important step aimed at a stable diplomatic cessation of the war. At the same time, Russia's stance remains unknown.
Analysts emphasize that Trump's possible involvement may indicate a new foreign policy position of Washington and could influence the reshaping of the European security system.
