US military personnel are working on establishing an international force at a base located in an industrial center in southern Israel to monitor fragile peace in Gaza and stabilize the region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
US, British, and Canadian military personnel operate at this center, managing aid and security flows. The main goal of the international force is to help stop the war in Gaza.
Although the US plans not to send its own troops, it intends to recruit soldiers from Egypt, Indonesia, and Gulf countries. However, Arab countries and others are skeptical about sending troops due to a lack of clear information about the force's composition and tasks.
According to the plan, two groups will be formed: the first group will control the Israel-Gaza border, and the second will operate within the territory. Nevertheless, problems remain, as Hamas is not giving up its weapons.
If the international force is not established and Hamas does not disarm, Israel will be forced to continue the war. Therefore, the formation of the international force and the number of troops still depend on negotiations.
