
Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Paramount are competing to acquire Warner Bros. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Warner Bros. Discovery was established on November 1, 2020, as a result of the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery Inc.
The company also owns brands such as DC Comics and HBO.
Additionally, Warner Bros Entertainment holds the rights to popular films like "Harry Potter," "The Lord of the Rings," "Dune," and "The Matrix." On October 21, 2023, Warner Bros.
Discovery announced its readiness to sell the entire company or parts of it. The company is also considering the possibility of splitting into two parts by 2026.
According to internal sources from Bloomberg, Warner Bros. has received three offers from Paramount Skydance Corp., with bids ranging from $19 to $24 per share, but these were rejected. Apple and Amazon have also expressed interest in acquiring Warner Bros.
Netflix and Comcast are proposing to purchase the company's film and television library as well as production assets.
Currently, Warner Bros. Discovery is exploring various options to maintain its position in the market and define its future strategy.
