The National Security Committee prevented a planned terrorist act in Almaty. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

They were apprehended during the preparation stage. In September and October, eight Kazakhstani citizens suspected of promoting terrorism were detained.
In the past two months, six individuals have been sentenced for terrorist and extremist crimes. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 89 people, including six foreign nationals, have been held accountable for such crimes.
In September of this year, a court verdict was issued against 20 supporters of destructive organizations in Uzbekistan. These individuals studied the characteristics of explosive substances and toxic agents, and four of them managed to leave for Syria to join terrorist ranks.
