US President Donald Trump described the high-level summit held at the White House in the C5+1 format as the beginning of a new era between the US and Central Asian countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The President made a statement about this on his page on the social network Truth Social. The summit was attended by Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajikistan's leader Emomali Rahmon, Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov, and Turkmenistan's leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Trump described them as “the new generation leaders of Central Asia” and called it an honor to meet with them. According to Trump, US leaders have not paid enough attention to this region over the past thirty years.
However, the situation is changing today. The Central Asian region, rich in mineral reserves, energy resources, and talented human capital, is becoming an important and reliable partner for the US.
During the summit, major commercial agreements were signed to strengthen cooperation in aviation, agriculture, railways, automobile manufacturing, IT, and minerals sectors. According to Trump, these contracts will create thousands of new jobs not only in Central Asia but also in the US.
White House sources evaluated the summit as one of the most effective dialogues in the C5+1 format. The agreements are expected to accelerate economic stability and infrastructure development in the region.
Analysts believe that this summit was significant not only economically but also politically. According to Trump, the US now views cooperation with Central Asia not only as a political matter but also as a key direction for economic development.
This summit marked the beginning of a new geopolitical era between the region and the US.
