According to a report by The New York Times, the US President Donald Trump's administration is developing several scenarios for military intervention related to Venezuela. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These plans aim to remove Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from power and change the political situation in the country. According to the first scenario, US air forces may strike strategic military facilities in Venezuela.
The goal is to undermine Maduro's confidence in security and force him to leave the country or agree to negotiations. However, some analysts emphasize that such a measure could have the opposite effect, uniting the people around Maduro.
The second option involves a special operation. In this, US special units, such as the "Delta" or SEAL Team 6 forces, may be sent to Venezuela.
Their mission could be to capture or eliminate Maduro. The Trump administration is trying to legitimize such an operation by portraying Maduro as a drug cartel leader.
The third scenario envisions a large-scale military operation. In this, US paratroopers could take control of Venezuela's airports and oil fields.
This plan aims to establish control over economic resources, but this option carries a high risk of significant losses. At the same time, Trump is acting cautiously, considering the safety of military personnel.
The plan includes the use of long-range weapons and drones. It is known that US military ships and aircraft are already positioned in the Caribbean Sea.
Additionally, the US Department of Justice has provided advice on legally justifying military actions. According to recent information, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has requested military assistance from Russia, Iran, and China.
Experts note that this situation may become one of the main topics in international politics in the coming days.
