As a result of discussions regarding the origin of this object, it was determined to be a stony meteorite, specifically one of the ordinary chondrites belonging to the LL6 group. Photos of the meteorite fragments found by the Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry Institute (GEOXI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences were published.
In a statement given by specialists, the object was confirmed to be a meteorite. According to representatives of the institute, the meteorite will be given an official name, which is usually associated with the name of the place where the object fell.
Research on the meteorite is being carried out by experts from the meteorite and cosmochemistry laboratory of GEOXI of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Some of the found samples are kept at the World History Museum in Dedovsk and at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg.
At the same time, the search for other fragments of the meteorite continues. These mysterious stone objects are unique items from space and hold significant importance for scientific research.
Studies on the origin and composition of the meteorite allow for a deeper exploration of the mysteries of the universe.
