A massive explosion spanning one million kilometers was observed on the Sun

Another major cosmic event has been observed on the Sun. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On the night of November 20, a huge plasma explosion occurred in the northern part of the Sun. As a result of this explosion, a plasma structure 80 times larger than the Earth's diameter was formed and ejected into space.
Scientists refer to this event as a "king prominence" because the length of the plasma structure was recorded to exceed one million kilometers.
Such events are very rare on the Sun and indicate significant activity. Interestingly, a similar plasma explosion occurred in the same area just three days earlier.
Experts believe these two events are related to the active region numbered 4274. This region was recently visible from Earth and produced two of the strongest flares of the year — classified as X5.1 and X4.0.
Currently, this area is located on the far side of the Sun and cannot be observed directly. Scientists continue to study the event in detail.
So far, it is emphasized that this massive plasma explosion does not pose a threat to Earth, as the event occurred on the side of the Sun opposite to Earth.
