
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed support for the initiative by former US President Donald Trump aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the press service of the President of Kazakhstan. At a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Tokayev emphasized his high appreciation of Donald Trump's efforts to achieve peace.
He also noted his approval of Trump's proposed plan to resolve the situation in Ukraine. Earlier, according to NBC, Trump had developed a 28-point project to settle the conflict in Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian parliament member Aleksey Goncharenko, the details of this project became known after the US delegation's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the plan, Ukraine would abandon its plan to join NATO, elections would be held within one hundred days after the agreement is signed, and the territories of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk would be recognized as part of Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that he had received Trump's proposal and stated his readiness to discuss the matter with the US President.
