A Uzbek maniac was sentenced to life imprisonment in Ukraine

For the first time in the last 10 years in Ukraine, a verdict has been issued against a serial killer. According to UPL.uz, the National Police of Ukraine has completed the investigation into this criminal case, and it has been revealed that a citizen of Uzbekistan has been identified as the perpetrator.

According to the investigation data, from 2018 to 2024, he brutally killed 11 people — 8 men and 3 women. He befriended the victims, gained their trust, and often spent time with them while consuming alcoholic beverages. When the victims lost their vigilance, he killed them by strangulation or by hitting them with a stone. He then stole their money, jewelry, and valuables.

One of the most horrifying incidents occurred in the Goloseyev district of Kyiv — a flower shop employee was stabbed 34 times. Through this crime, investigators were able to track down the maniac and uncover other crimes as well.

According to the court's decision, the citizen of Uzbekistan was sentenced to life imprisonment.
