Education activities have been temporarily suspended in Tehran due to deteriorating air quality. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Schools and universities are closed, and lessons are continuing remotely. The city administration has assessed the situation as dangerous and is taking appropriate measures.
Many employees in both the public and private sectors have been allowed to work from home. However, emergency services, medical staff, military personnel, and law enforcement officers remain at work as usual.
Vehicle traffic in the city is temporarily restricted. From 06:30 to 20:30, vehicle movement is controlled, and the movement of trucks is completely banned.
Only vehicles transporting fuel and perishable goods are exempted. According to experts, if air quality does not improve in the coming days, restrictions may be further tightened and their duration extended.
Local authorities plan to take additional measures to reduce air pollution.
