Murder of Uzbek migrant exposed in Russia

It became known that a 48-year-old woman strangled an Uzbek citizen to death and buried the body under a tree in her yard. This was reported by the regional Investigative Committee.

According to official information, the 54-year-old deceased had worked for several years at the Pokrovskiy TBI plant. In November 2025, his relatives reported his disappearance to law enforcement agencies.

According to the investigation results, on November 16, the man went to the house of a female acquaintance living in the village of Staroye Perepechino in the Petushinskiy district. Initial information indicates that they consumed alcoholic beverages during their meeting, after which a quarrel broke out between them.

It is said that the man fell to the floor, and the woman strangled him with a rope. After the murder, the woman buried the body under an apple tree in her yard.

According to the investigation materials, the cause of the conflict was a debt issue. The woman asked the man for money, but he refused.

The deceased's relatives reported on social networks that the woman had a large debt beforehand and that the Uzbek labor migrant had come to the village to recover his money. It was also found that the woman took the victim's phone and bank card.

During the search of the woman's house, investigators found a number of material evidences. According to information, the suspect had previously been convicted for committing a crime.

The investigation is currently ongoing, and it is expected that a preventive measure of detention will be applied against the woman. Expert examinations have been appointed, and all details of the incident are being studied.
