Revolut bank, based in the UK, has restricted money transfers to France from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and several other countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was published by the Oninvest portal based on a letter from the financial institution. According to the Revolut customer service department, this decision was not made independently by the bank.
The restriction was implemented in accordance with the requirements of payment processing partners. Among the countries subject to the restriction are Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, Russia, as well as some countries in Africa and Europe.
Previously, it was reported that Russian citizens faced difficulties transferring funds to Revolut accounts in the European Union using cards issued in CIS countries. Oninvest notes that none of the banks involved in these operations are under sanctions.
Revolut is a British neobank established in London in 2015. This bank offers its customers the ability to open accounts online and manage financial operations through a mobile application.
Users have the opportunity to hold funds in various currencies, exchange them at interbank rates, and transfer money abroad quickly and with low commissions.
