Turkey: Tensions in southern Syria raise concerns

Turkish officials are seriously concerned about the increasingly tense situation in southern Syria. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in his statement. According to him, instability in the region could negatively affect not only Syria but the security of the entire area.
"Stabilizing the situation in southern Syria is of great importance to us. Our main current concern is the possibility of Israel expanding its intervention in this area," Fidan said.
Additionally, the minister emphasized the importance of establishing effective control over the territories in the region. He noted that this issue is also relevant for the security of Iraq and Jordan alongside Syria.
"We support achieving regional stability through dialogue, peace, and agreement," he added. Fidan also mentioned that the armed PYD/YPG groups in Syria are receiving support from Israel.
According to him, this situation has been ongoing for many years. "If anyone wants to continue the ideological struggle, they must choose the political path.
Those who act with weapons will receive the appropriate response," the minister said. Turkish officials continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and have expressed their readiness to employ all means to ensure stability.
