Trump: My decision to quit drinking is because of my brother

Former US President Donald Trump emphasized that he considers himself to have an "alcoholic character." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He revealed this in an interview with the New York Post newspaper. Trump's statement was made in response to White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles' remarks about his temperament.
According to Susan Wiles, Trump "has an alcoholic character" because he sees himself as a person capable of overcoming any difficulty. Supporting this view, Trump stated that he does not consume alcoholic beverages, but if he did, he would likely be prone to alcoholism.
He said, "I have never drunk alcohol, but if I did, I probably would have become an alcoholic." Trump described himself as having a "possessive" character and acknowledged a tendency toward addiction.
Additionally, he said that his decision to quit drinking was significantly influenced by the life story of his brother Fred. Fred Trump died in 1981 at the age of 42 from a heart attack caused by alcohol abuse.
Donald Trump emphasized that his brother's tragic fate had a profound impact on him.
