A strong explosion occurred on the far side of the Sun

On January 8, a strong explosion occurred on the Sun. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Official information was provided by the Central Asia Solar Astronomy Laboratory. According to experts, high activity was observed on the Sun around midday.
In images taken through coronagraphs, the high-speed ejection of material in various directions was clearly visible. According to the laboratory report, the main source of the explosion is located on the far side of the Sun, meaning this part is currently facing away from the Earth.
Therefore, no artificial satellite directly observed this process. Currently, the details of the explosion are only approximately assessed using space instruments.
Experts state that two weeks ago, when the currently unseen part of the Sun was facing the Earth, no events causing serious concern were recorded there. Only a few moderate flares were observed.
Based on this information, assumptions are being made about which region the current explosion might be related to. According to scientists, if this explosion is connected to one of the active regions, it may have occurred around the group of sunspots located on the lower part of the Sun’s disk near the equator on the right side.
However, this is still only a tentative conclusion. Additional time is needed to determine the exact location of the explosion.
Interestingly, the source of the explosion may be observed more clearly in about a week. This is because the group of sunspots on the Sun will rotate out from the left horizon and approach the Earth-facing side.
At that time, scientists will have the opportunity to obtain more detailed information about the source of the explosion. Then it will be possible to make a more precise conclusion about where the explosion originated.
