17 people died in a rabid elephant attack in India

At least 17 people have died as a result of attacks by a rabid elephant in the Indian state of Jharkhand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident lasted for 8 days, during which the elephant carried out attacks in various areas. According to experts, the animal's aggressive behavior may be related to rabies and an increase in hormone levels.
The elephant's actions mainly took place in forest areas, causing great fear among the local population. More than 80 specialists and security personnel were involved to control the situation.
