Senegal football players received land and prize for the championship

In the Africa Cup of Nations final, the Senegal national team defeated Morocco in extra time to claim the championship. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This victory sparked a grand celebration throughout the country. The greatest attention was drawn to the rewards given by Senegalese President Bassiru Diomay Fay.
The president allocated not only monetary prizes to the team players but also land plots in a seaside resort area. According to the president, the team not only demonstrated sports results on the field but also honorably defended the country's dignity.
For this reason, each football player was awarded 75 million CFA francs (approximately 115 thousand euros) and 1,500 square meters of land in the Petite Côte region. The rewards were not limited to the players alone.
Representatives of the Senegal Football Federation received 50 million CFA francs and 1,000 square meters of land. Other members of the delegation were awarded 20 million CFA francs and 500 square meters of land.
Additionally, a total of 305 million CFA francs in rewards were distributed among employees of the Ministry of Sports. The Petite Côte is a region stretching south of Dakar in Senegal, known for its recreation and tourism.
This area is famous for its seaside resorts and expensive real estate, making the allocation of land there particularly significant. These rewards demonstrate the Senegalese state's attention to sports and national pride.
This is not just a simple reward but a recognition at the national level. Now, the task ahead for the "Lions of Teranga" is not to treat this achievement as a one-time result but to achieve consistent success.
