International internet restrictions are being lifted in Iran

Restrictions on access to the international internet in Iran are being gradually lifted. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to diplomatic sources, since January, the Iranian government has begun the process of easing previously imposed restrictions on the use of the international internet. It is emphasized that this process is being carried out step by step, not all at once.
Sources indicate that the restrictions affected not only the national internet platform but also access to international networks. The report states that from January 19, obstacles to accessing the international internet have been consistently removed.
At the same time, it was noted that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has instructed relevant agencies to lift restrictions in order to develop internet services and ensure access to the international network. Previously, on December 28, mass protests began in the country due to the sharp devaluation of the national currency.
These protests spread to 46 cities. On January 8, it was reported that the internet and mobile communications were completely shut down in the country, severely restricting the flow of information.
