Uzbekistan ranked 75th in the IQ rating

As of January 1, 2026, the International IQ Test platform announced the average IQ ranking by countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This ranking is based on the results of 1,212,714 participants who took the test throughout 2025. If at least 100 people from a country participated in the test, that country was included in the ranking.
Therefore, this statistic should not be considered an absolute truth reflecting the overall intellectual capacity of humanity, but rather as an observation conducted among the online audience. At the top of the ranking, South Korea took first place with a score of 106.97.
China (106.48) and Japan (106.3) ranked second and third respectively. Iran (104.8) and Australia (104.45) took fourth and fifth places.
Following them were Russia (103.78), Singapore (103.56), Mongolia (102.61), New Zealand (102.35), and Vietnam (102.26). The USA is in 18th place with a score of 101.04.
Uzbekistan ranked 75th with a score of 96.51. This indicator does not imply whether the intellectual capacity of the country's population is low or high.
Because the test results are significantly influenced by the number of participants, their conditions, and opportunities. Somalia was recorded at the bottom of the ranking with a score of 83.84.
This indicator also means that one should not draw a one-sided conclusion about the overall intellectual capacity of the country. Factors such as internet access, quality of education, health, and nutrition affect these results.
It is important to accept such rankings not as a tool for evaluating nations, but as a signal indicating direction for the future. If a country develops its education system, pays attention to children's health, and promotes reading and logical thinking, IQ scores will naturally improve.
Therefore, it is necessary not to dramatize such statistics but to draw the correct conclusions from them.
