The US has not yet allocated the promised aid to Ukraine

The US has not yet allocated the promised $250 million for Ukraine's energy sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was reported by *Reuters*. The funds were planned to support the import of liquefied gas during the harsh winter conditions in Ukraine, as well as to help restore the energy infrastructure damaged as a result of the war.
According to sources, part of the funds was supposed to be directed through the US Agency for International Development (USAID). However, due to a reduction in the agency's activities during the previous administration, the allocation of funds has been delayed.
The main issue in this situation remains who will distribute the money. Some officials have proposed directing the funds through the US State Department, while others consider it preferable to entrust this task to the US International Development Finance Corporation.
During these problems, information has emerged that the US is focusing on strategic sectors in Ukraine, including critical minerals and investment projects. This raises questions about Washington prioritizing long-term economic projects rather than short-term energy issues in its aid to Ukraine.
In conclusion, the issue of aid to Ukraine is connected not only with energy resources but also with bureaucratic processes. This becomes even more acute during the cold winter days.
