On February 10 of this year, a 23-year-old man stabbed a 16-year-old girl in the city of Igdir, Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The DHA news agency reported on this incident. The event took place on Cumhuriyet Street in the Cumhuriyet district.

According to information, a person named Y.B. stopped one of three girls walking on the street and stabbed her in the abdomen.

Citizens present at the scene immediately contacted emergency services. The injured girl was taken to the hospital, received necessary medical care, and her life was saved.

As a result of the incident, Y.B. was detained.

During the investigation, he stated that he did not know the victim and did not plan this act in advance. He said: “I left my house thinking I needed to stab someone.”

According to the court decision, Y.B. was imprisoned on charges of "attempted murder."

Investigation into this case is ongoing.
