Marriage age in India has reached 29

In India, the average marriage age has increased from 27 to 29 over the past decade. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Tribune publication reports on this. The main reasons for this change are cited as trends among young people prioritizing financial stability, striving for professional growth, and personal readiness.
Most young people prefer to establish their lives first and then consider marriage later. Additionally, the number of those wishing to remarry has also increased.
For example, ten years ago this figure was 11 percent, and it is expected to reach 16 percent by 2025. This is also seen as a reflection of changes in society.
As for Uzbekistan, the main age group for marriage falls between 20 and 30 years old. Among men, marriages in this age group account for 78.7 percent, while among women this figure is 53.5 percent.
In conclusion, while in some countries the marriage age is gradually shifting to older ages, in Uzbekistan the main wave is still around 20 to 30 years old. These changes may also impact market, housing, and labor policies in the future.
Therefore, it is important to monitor global trends.
