Global aid initiatives for Gaza discussed in Washington

On February 19, the first meeting of the Peace Council was held in Washington, the capital of the United States, on the initiative of US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the meeting, various countries and international organizations from around the world presented their proposals and aid plans aimed at restoring stability in the Gaza region, improving living conditions for the population, and ensuring security. Participants at the meeting proposed the following initiatives: Uzbekistan: Expressed readiness to participate in the construction of residential buildings, kindergartens, schools, and medical institutions in Gaza.
Through this, it plans to contribute to improving the living standards of the population. United States: Announced the allocation of $10 billion in financial aid to ensure security and peace in border areas.
United Arab Emirates: Announced the allocation of $1.2 billion for Peace Council projects. Qatar: Expressed readiness to allocate $1 billion to support the Council's activities.
Saudi Arabia: Announced the allocation of $1 billion for peacekeeping programs. Indonesia: Announced readiness to send more than 8,000 military personnel as part of international security forces in Gaza.
Kazakhstan: Announced readiness to contribute financially to the Peace Council and supply wheat as food aid. Bahrain: Expressed readiness to provide technical infrastructure and specialists to create a state digital services platform for Gaza.
Egypt: Announced continuation of practical work on training Palestinian police officers. Romania: Expressed readiness to assist in restoring emergency services, educational institutions, and law enforcement systems.
Turkey: Announced plans to assist in restoring healthcare and education sectors, as well as training police and military personnel. Morocco: Expressed readiness to send police officers, establish a military field hospital, and provide other practical assistance.
These initiatives are part of global efforts aimed at restoring social infrastructure in Gaza, strengthening security, and improving the quality of life for the population.
