Pakistan airstrikes: 17 people killed

On the night of February 21, the Pakistani military aviation carried out air strikes in the eastern regions of Afghanistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These actions were directed against militants, with the Pakistani side explaining that they targeted precise locations based on intelligence information. At the same time, Kabul officials strongly protested these attacks.
According to the official Pakistani statement, the air strikes targeted Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and affiliated groups. The government holds these groups responsible for recent dangerous attacks within the country.
Information agencies in Islamabad assessed these operations as measures to ensure Pakistan's security and called on the international community to pressure Afghanistan. The Afghan side reported that civilians, including women and children, were killed as a result of the attacks.
According to preliminary information, at least 17 people have died. In particular, several family members, including 12 children and teenagers, were killed as a result of strikes in the Bihsud district.
Photos and videos showing many people injured and residences destroyed are spreading on social networks. The Afghan Ministry of Defense condemned these attacks and stated that Pakistan could receive an appropriate response.
Officials described this incident as a violation of international legal norms and called on the international community to pay attention to this situation.
