Iran attack destroyed US THAAD radar

At a time when the situation in the Middle East has escalated, a missile attack carried out by Iran caused significant damage to the US military infrastructure in the region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to CNN's analysis, the main radar of the THAAD air defense system located at the Muwaffaq as-Salti airbase in Jordan was completely destroyed. Satellite images confirm the destruction of this valuable equipment.
Experts emphasize that this radar is the heart of the THAAD complex. Its failure renders the entire system "blind," significantly reducing the ability to detect and intercept ballistic missiles.
Iran's attack marks a sign of a new military strategy. From now on, attacks target not the missiles directly, but the sensor systems that control and monitor them.
This is a dangerous tactic aimed at reducing the effectiveness of the US defense system. Considering that the US currently has only 8 THAAD batteries, replacing the destroyed radar requires redistributing security systems in other regions.
Earlier, reports had also emerged about strikes on THAAD infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates. Iran's ability to deliver precise long-range strikes could seriously affect the military balance in the region.
