Lukashenko Invites Uzbek Labor Migrants to Belarus and Highly Values Them

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed positive views regarding Uzbek labor migrants during a meeting with Rahmatulla Nazarov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to that country. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to the Belarusian head of state, the hardworking nature and sense of responsibility of the Uzbek people are highly valued, and he is always happy to see them in their homeland. President Lukashenko invited Uzbeks to come to Belarus and work there, noting that all necessary conditions have been created for them.
The Belarusian leader openly stated that there is high demand for labor migrants in the country. According to him, strict order and discipline will be a decisive factor in foreign workers fully demonstrating their potential.
Uzbeks working in Belarus have the opportunity to compete on an equal footing with the local population as well as citizens of Russia and Ukraine. Lukashenko called on all foreign workers to engage in fair competition and productive labor.
During the meeting, special attention was also paid to issues of historical memory. Alexander Lukashenko gratefully recalled that during the years of World War II, many Belarusians found shelter and support in difficult times thanks to the Uzbek people.
Emphasizing that Belarus is indebted to the Uzbek people for their invaluable assistance during that period, the Belarusian leader particularly stressed that relations between the two states are being further strengthened on the basis of these historical ties. Currently, the Belarusian economy has a serious need for qualified personnel in various sectors, and Uzbek specialists play an important role in filling these gaps.
The parties exchanged useful ideas on developing mutual cooperation, particularly regarding further expanding ties in the field of labor migration. In turn, Uzbek Ambassador Rahmatulla Nazarov confirmed that friendly relations between the two countries have reached the level of strategic partnership and expressed confidence that cooperation will continue to develop in the future.
