The War in the Middle East Brings Russia $150 Million a Day

According to recent reports from the Financial Times, the intensification of the war situation in the Middle East region is creating an opportunity for Russia to earn additional income through oil trade. Zamin.uz reported on this.
With the disruption of peace and the escalation of hostilities in the region, demand for oil has increased on the global market, leading to higher prices. It has been revealed that this situation is bringing Russia an additional income of nearly one hundred fifty million dollars per day on average.
Instability in the energy sector and risks in the oil supply chain have led precisely to this result. Based on current calculations, during the first twelve days since the start of the war, an additional amount ranging from one billion three hundred million to one billion nine hundred million dollars has been added to the Russian state budget.
These figures are of serious importance for the economy. Additionally, it is specifically emphasized that demand for Russian oil has increased unexpectedly.
If in the future the oil price remains stable at between seventy and eighty dollars per barrel, it is forecasted that the additional income received by the Russian budget in March could reach between three billion three hundred million and four billion nine hundred million dollars. The change in the regional situation is directly affecting the global economy.
The rise in oil prices, while improving Russia's external trade balance, is also expanding the country's ability to meet its domestic needs. Economists are closely monitoring the long-term consequences of this process.
If processes in the Middle East stabilize, oil prices may also change. While Russia has currently achieved a clear advantage in utilizing energy resources, it is possible that this situation may change in the future.
