Russia Responded to Iran's Request for Humanitarian Aid

The Russian Federation has taken initial steps to provide humanitarian assistance to Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs official spokesperson Maria Zakharova informed the international community about this. The Iranian leadership acknowledged that numerous hospitals and emergency medical stations in their country have suffered severe damage, while the number of injured has sharply increased.
Especially due to the alarming rise in casualties among women and children, Tehran had appealed for support from friendly nations. In this process, Iran submitted a request to Russia for the delivery of various medicines and modern medical equipment.
According to information provided by Zakharova, the preparation and dispatch of aid are being organized rapidly under the direct instruction of the President of Russia. Moscow expresses serious concern over the uncontrolled expansion of the conflict in the Middle East.
The Russian side emphasized that military operations conducted by the United States and Israel against Iran have further complicated the situation across the entire region and pose a threat to stability. It was reported that the actions of combatants are also causing severe humanitarian consequences for the populations of several Arab states around the Persian Gulf.
In an official statement released by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, special emphasis was placed on the necessity to immediately halt military operations to prevent ecological and radiological disasters. Calls were also made to ensure that the existing problem is resolved solely through diplomatic means.
The primary goal of these steps is to save human lives and hand over a clean environment to future generations. Russia continues its efforts aimed at alleviating the difficult situation in neighboring countries within the framework of its humanitarian mission.
