One woman died in the Al-Quds Day march as a result of an explosion in Tehran.

A tragic incident occurred on Friday in Iran's capital, Tehran, casting a shadow of grief over the city's residents and the country's political life. Zamin.uz reported on this.
The Al-Quds Day march, held annually as a symbol of friendship and solidarity with the Palestinian people, was disrupted by unexpected explosions. According to state media, at least one woman lost her life due to shrapnel from an air strike in the capital.
The incident took place at Ferdowsi Square, where thousands had gathered to participate in demonstrations despite the heightened tensions in the region. This attack coincided with the fourteenth day of intensified military operations involving the armed forces of the United States and Israel.
According to data released by Iran's Ministry of Health, the number of fatalities resulting from strikes since late February has reached 1,440. Additionally, more than 18,000 people have sustained injuries of varying degrees.
Despite the clear danger, high-ranking officials, including state leader Masoud Pezeshkian, participated in the rallies to demonstrate national resolve. Demonstrators chanted slogans against Israel and the United States while carrying banners supporting Palestinian interests.
The situation in Tehran remains tense. Citizens are expressing solidarity with Palestine on one hand, and anger over the unprecedented scale of the current conflict on the other.
As the country marks this significant day against the backdrop of war, officials continue to closely monitor the situation. The need for serious measures to ensure public safety and restore peace is growing increasingly urgent.
