The humanitarian situation in Gaza and the West Bank is worsening sharply.

Although international attention is focused on the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank continues to deteriorate daily. Zamin.uz reports on this.
Israeli officials have completely closed the Rafah border crossing, further restricting freedom of movement and hindering the delivery of essential aid to civilians remaining in the enclave. At the same time, military operations conducted in the West Bank and violence perpetrated by settlers show no signs of abating.
Since military hostilities began on October 7, 2023, the number of casualties in Gaza has exceeded seventy-two thousand. Women and children make up the largest proportion among them.
Infrastructure within the enclave has been almost entirely destroyed, leaving the population in extremely dire conditions. Meanwhile, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than one thousand Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers or settlers during this period in the West Bank.
Based on official Israeli data, at least forty-five Israelis have also lost their lives in the region since the war began. The ongoing instability demonstrates that, despite shifting global geopolitical priorities, the conflict continues to claim human lives as a constant feature.
As military operations continue, the international community faces increasing pressure to resolve the deepening humanitarian crisis and the chain of violence affecting both Gaza and the West Bank. The painful situation among the population and the fading hopes for the future are further complicating the scenario encompassing the entire region.
