Iran is Strengthening Military Cooperation with North Korea

The geopolitical situation in the Middle East has recently undergone serious changes, marking a new phase in the balance of power in the region. Zamin.uz reports on this development.
Although Western countries have consistently highlighted Russia as Iran's main partner, recent events suggest the emergence of an unexpected and mysterious ally. Iran's military strategy has fundamentally shifted, with the country now developing close cooperation with North Korea in the field of modern technologies.
In recent days, attacks launched by Iran against its adversaries have somewhat diminished. While some analysts interpret this as a sign of weakening combat capabilities, others describe it as the calm before a major storm.
In fact, Tehran has fundamentally revised its tactics to adapt to a long-term conflict. According to Major General Sergey Lipovoy, Iran's leadership has abandoned the wasteful expenditure of forces and resources, transitioning instead to a conservation mode.
This strategic frugality indicates the country's preparation for a war that could last many years. In Iran's underground special bases, between ten thousand and fifteen thousand unmanned aerial vehicles are kept ready in areas inaccessible to US and Israeli intelligence.
Furthermore, heavy missiles at Iran's disposal have become a real headache for the American Patriot and Israeli Iron Dome defense systems. According to experts, some of Iran's missiles travel four to five times faster than the speed of sound.
Currently, neither Washington nor Tel Aviv possesses effective means to intercept targets moving at such speeds. A statement by Ali Fadaviy, an officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, left military circles around the world in awe.
He stated that Tehran possesses the technology to launch missiles traveling at speeds of 360 kilometers per hour from underwater. It is reported that such a unique development exists in only two countries: Russia and Iran.
Although military clauses are not explicitly stated in official agreements between Iran and Russia, technology exchange may be taking place through other channels. Military correspondent Alexander Artamonov suggests that North Korea is the key link in this chain.
Pyeongyang has successfully mastered hypersonic and nuclear technologies through cooperation with Russian scientists. A secret agreement on military cooperation exists between North Korea and Iran, enabling Russian developments to reach Tehran via Pyeongyang.
North Korea's military achievements in recent years serve as invaluable technical support for Iran. Iran's new military strategy is directed not only at defense but also at technologically stunning the enemy.
The emergence of a mysterious and determined ally like North Korea could completely alter the balance of power in the Middle East.
