Pentagon Sending Additional Warships and Infantry to the Middle East

The United States is taking new measures aimed at further strengthening its military position in the Middle East region. Zamin.uz reported on this.
The Wall Street Journal published news about this. According to the publication's article based on official US sources, the Pentagon is taking into account the increasing number of attacks carried out by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz area.
Therefore, a decision has been made to deploy additional warships and a Marine Expeditionary Unit to the region. It is reported that Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth considered the proposal from US Central Command.
He issued an order to send part of a group of landing ships along with an attached Marine battalion to the region. Typically, such a military combat unit includes several armed ships and approximately five thousand Marine personnel.
Their main task is to ensure peace and security in the region and to respond quickly and effectively to any anticipated threats. Experts believe that this US decision clearly indicates the ongoing escalation of the political and military situation in the Middle East.
The Strait of Hormuz is a strategic route of decisive importance in global oil trade. Any major conflict arising there could seriously impact the global oil supply chain and affect the economy.
Currently, the international community is closely monitoring the situation in the region and preparing for future developments. The deployment of US troops is significant not only for regional security but also for global security.
